A children’s glycerin suppository for occasional constipation, in a jar of 25.
Drug Facts: active ingredient glycerin 1 g per suppository (purpose: laxative). Labeled use: relief of occasional constipation. The label says it generally produces a bowel movement in a quarter hour to an hour.
Directions: children 2 to under 6, one suppository as a single daily dose, or as a doctor directs; under 2, ask a doctor. Insert well up into the rectum. It doesn’t need to melt completely to do its job. For rectal use only.
25 suppositories. LEADER is Cardinal Health’s store brand, carried by independent pharmacies like ours; this is the store-brand equivalent of Fleet children’s glycerin suppositories.
