What it’s for, per Bausch + Lomb: rinsing soft and gas-permeable lenses after cleaning and before insertion, as the final rinse after chemical (not heat) or hydrogen peroxide disinfection, and rinsing lens cases. It is saline only and is never to be used for lens disinfection.
