Prescription transfer questions, answered.

How long does a transfer take?

Most transfers are done the same day, often within a few hours. If your old pharmacy drags its feet (it happens), we do the chasing—not you. We’ll let you know the moment everything’s ready.

Do I need to call my old pharmacy?

Nope. That’s the whole point. Tell us where your prescriptions live now and we’ll handle the conversation—including any hold music.

What do you need from me to get started?

Your name, your phone number, and the name of your current pharmacy. That’s it. A pharmacist will call to confirm the details, and then it’s off your plate.

Can I transfer all my prescriptions, or just some?

Either. Some folks move everything at once; others test us out with one prescription first. We’re confident you’ll be back for the rest.

Will my remaining refills come with me?

Yes—any refills left on your prescriptions come right along with them. And if something’s out of refills, we’ll reach out to your clinic for a new one so you don’t have to.

Can every medication be transferred?

Almost. A few—like certain controlled substances—legally require a brand-new prescription instead of a transfer. If any of yours fall in that category, we’ll request it from your clinic ourselves. You won’t have to do anything different.
