Description
Olopatadine eye drops, the store-brand version of Pataday, in a 5 mL (0.17 fl oz) bottle.
Drug Facts: active ingredient olopatadine 0.1%, equivalent to olopatadine hydrochloride 0.111% (purpose: antihistamine and redness reliever). Labeled use: temporarily relieves itchy and red eyes due to pollen, ragweed, grass, animal hair, and dander.
Directions, adults and children 2 and up: 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily, every 6 to 8 hours, no more than twice a day. Wait 5 minutes between this and any other eye product. Remove contacts first and wait 10 minutes before reinserting; don’t wear a lens in a red eye. Under 2, consult a doctor.
Sterile ophthalmic solution USP 0.1%.
