Single-ingredient first-aid antibiotic ointment, 1 oz tube. This is the one to reach for if neomycin doesn’t agree with your skin.
Drug Facts: active ingredient bacitracin zinc 500 units per gram (purpose: first aid antibiotic). Labeled use: first aid to help guard against infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.
Directions: clean the area, apply a small amount (about a fingertip’s worth) 1 to 3 times daily, and cover with a sterile bandage if you like. Not for use longer than a week unless a doctor says so.
