Description
A plain milk chocolate bar, which is the hardest kind to make well because there’s nothing to hide behind. Sted’s has four ingredients: organic cocoa beans, organic cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, organic milk powder. They describe the finish as malt and caramel, and those notes come from the beans and the roast, not from anything added.
Contains milk. No soy lecithin, no vanilla, no fillers.
Full-size 2 oz bar. There’s a 0.5 oz mini if you’d rather sample first.
Sted is a bean-to-bar chocolate maker in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, run by Josh and Kristin Mohagen. They roast and grind the cacao themselves, use organic and fair-trade beans, and make the chocolate without soy, palm oil, or gluten.
