Description
Krumkake is the thin Norwegian cookie rolled on a cone, the one somebody’s grandmother made every December. Sted crumbles it into 50% dark milk chocolate and adds cardamom, which is the spice that makes Scandinavian baking taste Scandinavian. Kristin bakes the krumkake herself.
Ingredients: organic cocoa beans, organic cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, organic milk powder, organic krumkake crumbles (butter, sugar, white rice flour, tapioca starch, potato flour, molasses, baking soda, cinnamon, salt), and organic cardamom essential oil. Contains milk. The cookie is made with rice flour, not wheat.
Full-size 2 oz bar. There’s a 0.5 oz mini if you’d rather sample first.
Sted is a bean-to-bar chocolate maker in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, run by Josh and Kristin Mohagen. They roast and grind the cacao themselves, use organic and fair-trade beans, and make the chocolate without soy, palm oil, or gluten.
