Description
Rain on dirt. Wet Earth opens with damp soil and mineral rain, goes into moss, vetiver, and patchouli, and ends in cedarwood, resin, and dark woods. If you’ve ever liked the smell of a garden after a storm more than the smell of the flowers in it, this is your perfume.
It’s the earthiest of Wild Yonder’s four functional fragrances and the one that leans most on vetiver.
10 mL glass bottle. Plant-derived squalane with botanical compounds and essential oils. Wild Yonder sells these as “functional” scents, each tuned to a mood in the brand’s view; we just think it smells like April.
How to use it: a little on the pulse points, or on the palms if you’d rather breathe it than wear it. It’s an oil, so it sits close to the skin.
Wild Yonder Studio is a two-person perfumery (Kat and Greg) working out of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Self-taught, small batch, and in the habit of naming things exactly what they smell like.
