The foam is polyurethane, which Mack’s calls Comfy Cush and makes at low pressure so it expands slowly. These are for noise, not water; Mack’s points you to their silicone plugs for swimming.
How to insert: roll the plug into a tight, crease-free cylinder, reach over your head with the other hand and pull the ear up and back, slide the plug in, and hold it until it expands. Remove slowly with a twist. Replace after several uses or once wax builds up.
