Description
Not a begonia, despite the name. Cissus discolor is a tropical vine from Central and South America in the grape family, with big heart-shaped leaves in deep green, veined in silver, and burgundy underneath. It trails or climbs, and it’s the plant people stop and ask about.
Care, per the grower: bright light. Thorsen’s lists it as Cissus javana on the botanical line, which is the same plant under a newer name.
This is the 4″ pot. Soil may shift a little in transit; that’s normal.
Thorsen’s Greenhouse is a family-owned grower in Delaware, Ohio, in business since 2000. Plants arrive in a plastic grower’s pot with drainage holes (pot color varies), and since every plant is picked by hand, yours will look a little different from the photo.
