Mountain Ocean’s lip balm, flavored with natural vanilla and peppermint oil. It’s a lanolin-and-beeswax balm, the old-fashioned kind that stays put.
Ingredients: lanolin oil, beeswax, coconut oil, castor seed oil, natural vanilla flavor, lanolin, aloe vera leaf juice, lecithin, cocoa seed butter, apricot kernel oil, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), and peppermint oil.
How to use it: the brand says to throw it in a day pack and apply often. It also uses it on cuticles and dry patches anywhere, and as an overnight lip layer after a day outside.
0.165 oz tube. The label is the original ’70s artwork, which the brand brought back because it was too good to leave in a drawer.
Mountain Ocean started in the 1970s with Karen and Tom blending lotion in small batches on the California coast. They landed in Boulder, Colorado, opened a shop called Everybody, and the family still runs the brand from there.
