The SPF 30 version of Bask’s sheer lotion, in the 3.4 oz size that gets through airport security. Broad spectrum and water resistant for 80 minutes as labeled. Face and body.
Active ingredients: avobenzone 3%, homosalate 7.5%, octisalate 5%, octocrylene 5%. Purpose: sunscreen.
Same vanilla-coconut scent as the rest of Bask’s scented line, with aloe leaf juice, cocoa seed butter, and vitamin E among the inactive ingredients. It’s a lotion that rubs in like a lotion, not a paste.
Directions, from the label: apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, and at least every two hours.
Made without oxybenzone or octinoxate, and without parabens or sulfates. Vegan and cruelty-free. Bask Suncare (Surfside Skincare, Inc.) makes its sunscreens in Miami Beach, Florida. If you want more coverage, the SPF 50 lotion is next to it on the shelf.
