Drug Facts: chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v, purpose: antiseptic. The label describes it as an antimicrobial skin cleanser that helps reduce bacteria that potentially can cause disease, for skin wound and general skin cleansing. For external use only; keep it out of eyes, ears, and mouth.
Directions for skin cleansing: rinse the area with water, apply the minimum amount needed to cover the skin, wash gently, and rinse thoroughly. Use with care on infants under 2 months.
