Matisse cutouts, nail-sized. Gallery Gala is Modgloss’s modern-art set, with the loose shapes and bold color blocks of a Matisse collage; the brand suggests wearing it to an art opening, though the Chazen will do.

How to use them: wash your hands, wipe nails with the included alcohol wipe, and peel off the clear cover. Pick a strip just slightly narrower than each nail, peel it from the backing, press it on and smooth it out (it stretches a little), fold the excess over the edge, and file downward to trim. Modgloss suggests waiting a couple of hours, then adding a regular top coat.

Each starter kit holds 20 double-ended nail strips in branded packaging, plus a nail file, an orange stick, and a cleansing wipe. Zero dry time, no mess.
