Description
Ursa Major’s vitamin C serum, built on two stable forms of the vitamin: tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, which is oil-soluble, and ascorbyl glucoside, which is water-soluble. The brand chose them over L-ascorbic acid because they don’t oxidize and turn orange in the bottle.
Also in it: organic sunflower seed oil, glycerin, aspen bark extract, organic shea butter, organic aloe, organic rosehip seed extract, edelweiss stem cell culture, and organic rose and orange peel oils. Silky, lightweight texture.
How to use it: massage one or two pumps into clean skin, morning or night, before moisturizer or SPF.
It smells like fresh citrus with a little rose, from the essential oils, and the scent fades after it goes on. No silicones or PEGs. Gluten-free, vegan.
30 mL / 1 fl oz. Glass bottle with a pump; the bottle and carton recycle curbside, and the pump goes to a specialty recycler.
Ursa Major is a Vermont skincare company, a certified B Corp, Leaping Bunny certified, and certified plastic negative. Nothing in the line uses sulfates, parabens, or synthetic fragrance; the scents come from plant oils and extracts.
