Description
A continuous spray sunscreen that isn’t an aerosol. SPF 50+, broad spectrum, water resistant for 80 minutes as labeled, for face and body.
Active ingredients: avobenzone 3%, homosalate 10%, octisalate 5%, octocrylene 5%. Purpose: sunscreen.
How it works: the bottle is bag-on-valve, meaning compressed air surrounds a bag of sunscreen. No propane, butane, or isobutane, and it sprays at any angle, including upside down. Turn the cap a quarter turn to unlock it.
The inactive ingredients are short: fragrance, SD alcohol 40-B, vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), and a film-forming copolymer. The alcohol base is why it dries quickly. The scent is Bask’s vanilla-coconut.
Directions, from the label: apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, and at least every two hours.
Made without oxybenzone or octinoxate, and without parabens or sulfates. Vegan and cruelty-free. Bask Suncare (Surfside Skincare, Inc.) makes its sunscreens in Miami Beach, Florida.
