Blue Lizard Sensitive, the all-purpose mineral lotion, 3 oz. Actives are zinc oxide 10% and titanium dioxide 8%, nothing else. Drug Facts purpose: sunscreen. Water resistant for 80 minutes.

Blue Lizard labels it free of parabens, phthalates, and fragrance, and formulated without oxybenzone or octinoxate. Aloe leaf juice and vitamin E are in the inactive list. The blue Smart Cap changes color in UV light, which is Blue Lizard’s way of nudging you to put more on.

Directions from the label: shake well, apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure, and reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, right after towel drying, and at least every two hours. Children under 6 months: ask a doctor.
