Blue Lizard’s face sunscreen, the Sheer Face Mineral SPF 50 in a 1.7 oz tube. Mineral actives only: zinc oxide 10% and titanium dioxide 8%. Drug Facts purpose: sunscreen.

It’s the sheer one in the line; Blue Lizard says it rubs in and dries clear. The inactive list includes aloe leaf juice, rosehip oil, marula oil, hibiscus extract, shea butter, squalane, sodium hyaluronate, and vitamin E. Formulated without oxybenzone or octinoxate. The blue Smart Cap changes color in UV light, which is Blue Lizard’s way of nudging you to put more on.

Directions from the label: shake well, apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure, and reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, right after towel drying, and at least every two hours. Children under 6 months: ask a doctor. May stain some fabrics.
