Cedar, eucalyptus, and orange: AKT London describes After Thunder (SC.02) as a walk through the woods after a storm, and that’s about right. It’s the green, outdoorsy one in the range.
Underneath the scent is the same aluminum-salt-free deodorant balm as the rest of the line. What’s in the tube: shea butter, vitamin E, and calendula; sodium bicarbonate and zinc oxide; diatomaceous earth and arrowroot; and essential oils for scent. No aluminum salts. Vegan and cruelty-free.
How to use it: snap off the nozzle tip (it doubles as the plug), squeeze out a pea-sized amount, and massage it into clean, dry underarms. The balm goes on as a cream and settles into a soft powder.
The full-size 50 mL tube is plastic-free and fully recyclable, cap and all. AKT is a London label started by two West End performers, which explains the brand’s line about being tested on dancers, not animals.
