Santal Nomad is a limited run from AKT London: orange embers, sun-worn leather, saffron, and smoked cedar. It’s darker and spicier than the numbered scents, and it won’t be around forever.
The balm underneath is AKT’s aluminum-salt-free formula in the full 50 mL tube. What’s in the tube: shea butter, vitamin E, and calendula; sodium bicarbonate and zinc oxide; diatomaceous earth and arrowroot; and essential oils for scent. No aluminum salts. Vegan and cruelty-free.
How to use it: snap off the nozzle tip (it doubles as the plug), squeeze out a pea-sized amount, and massage it into clean, dry underarms. The balm goes on as a cream and settles into a soft powder.
The tube itself is plastic-free and fully recyclable, aluminum cap included. AKT is a London label started by two West End performers, which explains the brand’s line about being tested on dancers, not animals.
