Drug Facts: active ingredient salicylic acid 17% w/w (purpose: wart remover). Labeled use: removal of common and plantar warts. The label describes a common wart by its rough, cauliflower-like surface, and a plantar wart by its spot on the bottom of the foot, its tenderness, and the break it makes in the footprint pattern.
Directions: wash the area (you can soak the wart in warm water for 5 minutes first), dry thoroughly, and apply just enough to cover each wart. Let it dry. Repeat once or twice daily as needed for up to 12 weeks. Not for use on the face, genital warts, moles, birthmarks, or irritated skin, and not for people with diabetes or poor circulation except under a doctor’s supervision. Flammable; avoid breathing the vapors.
