Description
Individually wrapped alcohol prep pads, 100 to the box, in the thicker cut. Sterile and latex free per the carton; about 1 mL of solution per packet.
Drug Facts: active ingredient isopropyl alcohol USP 70% v/v (purpose: antiseptic). Labeled uses: to prepare skin prior to injection, and to decrease germs in minor cuts and scrapes.
Directions: wipe the injection site vigorously and discard the pad. Flammable; not for use in the eyes, on mucous membranes, or on irritated skin.
The pad that goes with insulin pens, glucose meters, and the home first-aid kit. Compare to BD alcohol swabs.
