Description
A DEET-free bug spray from the north woods, where they’d know. Good Flower Farm builds it on six organic oils: soybean, castor, citronella, lemongrass, geranium, and cedarwood, in water with vegetable glycerin. That’s the whole label.
It goes on light rather than sticky, and smells like lemongrass and cedar, so it doubles as the summer perfume you didn’t know you wanted. New formula and bottle as of 2025.
How to use it: shake well and spray before you head out. Reapply as you’d expect with any essential-oil spray.
Two sizes, both in a slim aluminum bottle with a fine-mist sprayer: the 4 fl oz for the cabin and the back door, and the 2.7 fl oz that clears airport security and fits a bike bag or a kid’s camp backpack.
Good Flower Farm is a small, woman-owned herbal skincare company in Washburn, Wisconsin, up on the shore of Lake Superior. They’ve been at it since 2014, grow a good share of their own herbs, make everything in small batches, and are Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free.
