Description
One ingredient: certified-organic golden jojoba, first-press and unrefined, cold-pressed from a single crop year’s harvest without heat or hexane, then filtered. No preservatives, because jojoba doesn’t need them. No added fragrance. Nut-free, certified vegan and cruelty-free.
The Original Jojoba Company started in 1994 on a jojoba farm in Arizona and now belongs to a cooperative of jojoba growers, so the oil comes straight from the people who grow it. Organic certification is through MOFGA under the USDA National Organic Program.
How people use it: as a face and body moisturizer, a makeup remover, a scalp and hair conditioner, a pre- or post-shave oil, a cuticle or beard oil, and a carrier oil for massage. A few drops is plenty; the brand’s own advice is to keep one by the sink and use it after washing your hands.
